Vintage Mens 1933 ROTARY 9ct Solid Gold Watch. Original Box/Papers! Rare

Rare example of a early Men/Midsized Rotary, this piece dates to 1933 and is presented with its original box and papers from new! This model is featured in solid 9ct yellow gold.

Acrylic crystal has scratches but remains clear. Original dial has a lovely patina, untouched. Case is fully hallmarked 375 9ct gold, Birmingham made and dates to 1933. The case has been repaired at some point in its life, one end of the pin has been soldered, very common with a watch of this age, there is a slight crack as can be seen in the pictures, remains very strong however. This is an easy fix or a jeweller/gold smith.

15 Jewel cal 260/3 15 Jewel movement, Rotary signed. Running well and keeping time. Gold plated crown showing some wear but operating very nicely.

Watch has not been serviced. Aftermarket vintage strap fitted, fitting with a watch of this age.

Original box in excellent condition complete with papers. Can be worn perfectly, but to the collectors out there please study pictures and the description regarding the soldering repair.
