Very Rare Blueroom Loudspeakers Ltd. Minipod White Speakers in Original Box

White Blueroom Minipod Speakers with sequential serial numbers. Comes in original "Blueroom Loudspeakers Ltd" box (without any packaging, it's rather worn after all these years but not really bashed). Includes the 6 Sputnik Spikes plus their 6 rubber feet and the 6 plugs (to fill feet gaps in speakers if not using the spikes). I have tested the speakers and they still play beautifully and are in good cosmetic condition.

The Blueroom minipods are supposed to have the B&W kevlar drive units according to online documentation & specifications from researching archived websites from 2003. I found a page on the archived B&W support website stating production of the Blueroom Minipod were between 1995-96.

So , I have revised the listing & price and if they are B&W, they are a great price! If they are early Scandyna, they are still a very good price for some old speakers from the iconic minipod design. The history of the pod speakers started in the UK when a group of B&W's best developers, among others the men behind B&W's legendary Nautilus speaker, Lawrence Dickie and Simon Ghahary, were assigned by Robert Trunz to develop a new set of untraditional speakers. The overall mission was to make high quality sound available at a reasonable price.

The result was the minipod series. The speakers have been tested and are in good working order.

They have been well looked after and have no major cosmetic defects; just 2 tiny patches of the surface paint is slightly tarnished but it's a very minor imperfection and not really seen when they are set-up.
