Ultra Rare Thorens Td 124 Mk I Serial# 2552 In Original Box

This offer contains ONE (1) ultra rare Thorens TD 124 MK I, serial# 2552 in original box. It includes the undrilled armboard with the first series design, the owner manual, the rods with the mushrooms and mushroom tops. The turntable appears in as new and working condition.

The turntable is untouched and unrestored. The top platter is straight, the main bearing housing with plastic inlays has been replaced for a later model with bronze bushings (the original one is included). Everything is matching and original. Motor with early serial# and full rubber idler wheel.

The TD 124 enthusiast knows that these earliest series offering the best sound of the whole TD 124 series. Thorens serial# were starting always with #1001, that means this turntable is the #1551 of the production. Needless to say one of best early TD 124 we have ever seen. Even the turntable is in working condition we will sell it as defect because of its age.
