RARE Vintage 1984 Transformers G1 Decepticon AM Radio/ Headset? In Original Box

Not an easy find, this novelty radio, especially new in the original box. But there happen to be at this writing two others listed on these pages. I mean it's been tested to see if it works, AND IT DOES operate as intended. The former owner mostly tried out radios to see if they worked and then took out the batteries, stored them or put them on display in her home.

Anyway, I pulled in several stations in my area here near Boston which sadly is not a good spot for reception. Some stations better than others, you may get better or worse results where you are.

The condition is very good, but it does have a couple surface lines which may be the slightest of cracks. My fingernail slid right across without catching a nail on them, I'm unsure if they are age cracks or just noticeable scratches. See those two pics; the camera could pick them up but not for sure identify exactly what they are (to me), see what you think. The blister pack window is all gone, the radio will fall out if not handled carefully/properly. Having said all of this, nothing shown affects the operation of the radio.
