A terrific find from Saratoga Wyoming. An original K&E Keuffel Esser Co. Survey Transit Original Wood Box & Tripod.

Condition is farm fresh and used but in perfect working condition. No damage found other than an aged patina and some dust. No cracks in any glass. All knobs turn freely for adjustments. Box shows some wear and age but solid and still nice.

Some old alterations on hinges ect.. Tripods show some age and wear but still solid. I'm helping an older couple out to get rid of some older ranch items and this is one of the jewels. Piece was used around the Saratoga area for Decades and rumored to have come from Beverly Hills California where it was the transit used for much of the city designs.
