Vintage 1950s Mens GRIFFON Original Box/Tag. Full Stainless Steel. Rare

Here we have a stunning example of a 1950s mens timepiece, fully complete with its original box and hanging tag! You just dont see this anymore. A gorgeous complete Swiss-Made timepiece made by GRIFFON. A new acrylic crystal has been fitted! Unrestored white dial in spectacular condition!

Silver plated markers and spear head hands. The Swiss-Made case is made from thick stainless steel, its design reminds me of vintage Omega Seamasters from the 1950/60s.

Screw down down case back has a lovely brushed finish. The case will have the odd imperfection as it is vintage and not new. 35.71mm in width with crown.

40.51mm in length lug to lug. 9.82mm in case thickness including crystal. The watch houses an AS cal-1130 movement, however this is 18 jewels rather than your more common 17 jewels.

A robust and reliable movement. Winds and runs very well.

It has not been serviced. Steel crown in excellent condition. 18mm black leather strap fitted. This really is a wonderful quality piece, and so rare to find one with its original box and tag! Griffon watches have become very scarce over the years, here is your chance to own an amazing example.
