About the item: Rare antique early 19th century George III brass tavern'honesty' tobacco box by Rich, c 1800. It has its original key and the coin operated mechanism looks intact and working. It is in good original condition with minor surface wear and what appears to be an historic repair to one of the ball feet (see photo). All very much as you would expect from something that is over 200 years old.
