Matchbox Models Of Yesteryear Store Display Stand. Plus all 16 boxed models.

An unusual, illustrated header-card stepped display stand from 1966, made in England by Lesney Matchbox. Plus all 16 models from Y-1 to Y-16 with their original boxes. Is made from thick cardboard, with an illustrated header card showing a Packard Landaulet with chauffeur and lady passenger, crossing London Bridge, with the Houses of Parliament behind and cheering crowds. The yellow-topped steps have number-assigned spaces for dispalying the 16 models, out of their boxes. Some creasing to a rear tab, and slight surface rubs to the haeder card picture, but otherwise in Excellnt condition with vivid colours.

Y-1 1911 Model'T' Ford. In Red with a Black roof.

Gold-spoked wheels and grille/headlight detailing. Car in very near-Mint condition. It comes in a blue/yellow all-card illustrated box with'NEW MODEL' to end-flaps. Box is a lovely near-MINT. In metallic mint-green with red seating. Gold-spoked wheels and gold front headlamps and detailing. In very near-Mint to Mint lovely condition.

It comes in a blue/yellow illustrated all-card box, which is in Excellent condition. All flaps and tabs firmly attached. Some light creasing to the two blue sides. In gloss Cream with green roof and seating.

Just a few light paint rubs. The all-card illustrated box is Excellent, with slightest surface creasing to both blue sides.

All flaps and tabs in place. Y-4 1909 Opel Coupe , in gloss White with tan roof and red seats.

It comes in the later window box, which is in near-MINT condition. Original box window has a couple of dings/dents but no visible breaks. Y-5 1929 41/2 Litre(s) Bentley. In gloss dark Green with red seating/rear top. Silver spoked wheels and folded-down windscreen. The car is in VERY near-Mint to Mint condition. Union flag and racing number'5' decals are all MINT.

The box is in very, very near-Mint condition. Crisp card and no labels or writing. Y-6 Supercharged Bugatti Type 35'New Model'.

In gloss sky Blue with gold wide-spoked wheels and spare. Black seats with red interior. Racing number'6' decals to both sides. Slight fading to gold on wheels and on steering wheel.

In'New Model' all-card box, which is in near-MINT condition with penned price to one side. Y-7 Mercer 1913 Raceabout Type 35 J. In metallic Purple with gold-spoked wheels, two spare tyres to te rear, black seats.

In near-MINT condition, with a few very small surface paint-rubs. It comes in a dark Blue and Yellow all-card Lesney box, which is Excellent.

Pencilled price to main picture side, over rubbed-out previous price. New Model' printed on both end-flaps. Y-8 1914 Sunbeam Motorcycle with Milford Sidecar, finished in chromed Silver, with green seating to the sidecar, a black saddle on the bike. In lovely very near-MINT to MINT condition.

A great example - we haven't found any faults. It comes in the later illustrated window box which is very near-MINT condition. Y-9 1912 Simplex , in vivid very bright Green, with a tan roof and red seating. Gold detailing to front grille and lights, and to the spoked wheels.

In very near-Mint to MINT superb condition. It comes in an all-card blue/yellow illlustrated box which is in very near-MINT condition. Y-10 1928 Mercedes 36/220, in gloss White with red seating, silver front grille and headlights, folded down windscreen. With silver spoked wheels, including two spares to the rear. In a near-MINT all-card illustrated box.

Small tear to base information side. Y-11 1912 Packard Landaulet in gloss Red with black seating, gold detailing and gold-spoked wheels. With crest decals to both side doors. The car is in very near-Mint to Mint condition.

We haven't spotted any faults. It comes in a crisp, very near-Mint all-card blue/yellow illustrated box. In metallic Turquoise with gold detailing, including wheel-spokes.

Brown seats and a light Tan roof. In very near-Mint to MINT condition. It comes in the later illustrated window box, which is in Excellent condition with original window which is undamaged. Y-13 1911 Daimler, in gloss deep Yelow with dark brown seats, gloss black chassis, running boards and base. In near-MINT condition with slight fading/discolouration to the gold. The all-card blue/yellow box is very near-MINT, with crisp card and strong colours. Y-14 1911 Maxwell Roadster in mint Green with black plastic roof, dark brown seating, gold detailing and gold-spoked wheels. In naer-Mint condition with a few small surface paint rubs. The all-card blue/yellow box is Very Good, with slight brown staining to one end, and some light surface creasing and tiny pressure points (possibly caused by a pen-top) but no puncturing. Y-15 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost. In metallic light blue/Green, with black plastic seating, gold spoked wheels and silver and gold detailing.

The all-card box is very near-MINT. Lovely model and box combination. Y-16 1904 Spyker Tourer in gloss Yellow with dark green seating, gold-spoked wheels and front and rear moulded number plates. The car is in very near-MINT condition.

The all-card box is also very-near-Mint, with crisp card and rich colours. Our high-resolution photos form part of our item description, so please study them carefully.
