Lionel Original Postwar Train Set 1426WS 2026 6466WX 6440 6441 Parts Box Rare

An very desirable original Lionel vintage train set that is nearly complete! I hate to sell sets like this because of their originality and completeness but I have to make room for some older sets.

A gorgeous train set rarely found like this! Based upon the mighty New York Central Railroad's steam locomotives --- a true classic! I fully tested all of the pieces; 2026 Steam Locomotive (1949 vintage) Loco runs well, E-unit, smoke and Headlight ok.

6466WX whistle tender works fine. All couplers work on all pieces. Lights work on all cars.

Comes with the following (all items as shown in pics). 2026 Steam Locomotive with original paint and graphics.

6466WX Whistle tender - all original (some spotting). The original locomotive and tender. Boxes have their inserts (liners). The Set box has nice tape and presentable label with some age toning, staining and defects as shown. Car boxes have some small marks as shown and tape repairs to flaps etc (see pics).

Cars are very nice with some chips and contact marks overall, small blems nothing major. Awesome overall cars grade out at about C7. Ll original set peripherals as follows.

6019 remote control track , controller and wire (brittle). 2 original wires and CTC Lockon.

1948 instruction book, instruction sheets, & Service Station brochure. Original SP smoke pellets and tamper. Original Lionel 927 Lubrication and Maintenance kit.
